The
matchless dessert themed pop up show witnessed another record setting in terms
of the crowed it garnered and the early sell outs made by some vendors before
the close of the fair.
Sixteen
vendors including two beverage makers, dessert accessories and equipment
suppliers, and over 1, 500 cake fair attendees participated.
The
Nestle Ideal Dessertfest had more than just belly sweetening cakes to dazzle
participants: from apple pies to vegan brownies, cheesecakes, cupcakes, and
tongs of ice creams, patrons were left asking for more.
And
just like this year's July 30 first maiden edition of the cake fair, A-list
radio and TV personalities including Yvonne Okoro, Sandra Ankobia, Farida
Bedwei, Fiifi Folson, Kokui Serlomey and Dzifa Grey gave the event a celebrity
touch of splendor.

The
dessert themed event which came of this Saturday, November 26, is a series of
pop up shows to be organized before another maiden cake fair event next year
with the aims of providing platforms for owners of start-up foodies to network
and expose their businesses to new clientele.
