Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister, Nana Oye Lithur. |
The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur, Tuesday [today] reiterated her unwavering affection for Ghanaian producer and reggae-dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr aka Shatta Wale.
"[Kaikai is]
creative, energetic and infectious...I like Shatta Wale", she intimately expressed and sounded almost passionate during an interview on Tuesday at Accra-based Citi FM with Bernard Avle.
This follows criticisms
from some Ghanaians after she choreographed to Shatta Wale's hit song ‘Kaikai’
at her 50th birthday bash.

Nana Oye Lithur relished her good-old-days as an ex-hockey player at the University of Ghana, Legon, but rather expressed disappointment about why people criticized her performance. “I am disappointed that people were [disappointed]”, she decried.
The former human rights advocate organized a plush party to celebrate her 50th birthday at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra earlier this year.
She was seen in what appeared to be a glittering gold spaghetti jumpsuit and backed by two
dancers, lip-synched and performed to Shatta Wale’s addictive hit song 'Kaikai'.
