After you’ve gained it all,
gathered for yourself earthly treasures
greater than an empire
and satisfied your lust beyond Solomon’s pleasures,
be tempted not in your ‘wise’ eyes that you stand
tall:
not even against what men have station.
Take heed lest you return not
from the fool’s pride
that what is the use of a man’s wealth if not
mansions, liquors and on his side
over a thousand #vaginas to conquer:
which is often a mad man’s position.

Alas, the Mighty Hand folds all
your ages sweat and toil
and your remains
which you fattened with proteins
while you lived
be left to the earth’s worms
and worse your soul be vanquished
beyond noticeable forms.
I fear less because calm
awaits me should I be done and gone
but until then
I gaze and cling to the Light and when
the trumpet shall sound and time
shall be no more and none
as clay escapes not the potter's palm
shall escape the Maker
when the roll is called up yonder,
Be in the known that after you’ve gained it all
and as Silas Manner hoarded earthly treasures -
the Mighty hand shall fold it all
and He shall turn into ashes your many treasures and
pleasures!
